Wrap Color Ideas for a Blue Blank?

The dark blue and silver before the vegetable oil hack is what I envisioned. Since the oil significantly darkens the blue thread, maybe a royal or medium blue would be a better choice.
CP 'should' make that possible.

These are new colors that showed up last week. They are all Pro-Wrap nylon, A size, require CP (if you want to maintain the true color) This thread finishes well to my eye, and looks classier than the CP thread in some of my earlier trials.

I really like the 'Copper', 'Forged Steel' (main wrap 1st & 2nd from right), and 'Gulfstream' (the dark navy blue, almost black trim wraps)

Of those, I like these 3 the best:

I am gonna say, the blue and black and the blue and orange actually look usable.

Though not my first choice of blank colors, this is an advertisement for Echo glass rod. Kinda refines the look. Clear with black trim- look at picture of wrapping next to butt section . 4th picture

I'll spare everyone the littany of excuses.

That said, there has been some progress:

-Finalized wrap color choices (Pro-Wrap nylon): primary = #836 'Forged Steel', trim =#740 'Copper'

-Last Sunday afternoon, I removed all those test wraps/finish, cleaned the residual crud off the blank, marked the guide locations.

(If you see my green Frontier this next week with Iowa plates, say 'Hi'; I might buy you a cold one. 🍻)
