The "Hero" thread.

im also watching scooby doo with my daughter and i went in the rain yesterday. Im not sick though. I over dressed and was sweating but i wasent cold. Gotta love neos :)

Unfortunately i go to work in a little over an hour. ;-)

I wasn't really that cold yesterday, at times a little I guess. I wasn't really wearing any rain gear, but I've found that fleece stays warm even when wet. I think that my main problem was the fact that I was already pretty much under the weather, and going out in the rain probably wasn't the greatest idea. Oh well, it was fun. The fish were super spooky though.

And watching Scooby reminds me of being a kid. My daughter loves the Scoob.

This is all the better I could do, at least it was wild and I had to hike a few miles for it, and saw some cool waterfalls and such.

I didn't measure him the photo was kind of a joke, my buddy couldn't believe I just dabbled my fly in a tiny trickle of water and out pops this little brookie on my line.

Uhhh, I just noticed there is no hero in the pic. Forgot about that.

I can screw anything up.

My daughter with her largest trout to date caught with a flyrod.

I wish my daughter fished, but not since she was 5-6 when we would go down to the Mon River with the snoopy rod. Fly fishing is good for the soul. It is close to religion in that regard.

My buddy Jeff that some have you have met. His largest ever caught on a dry, a black stimulator during a giant stonefly hatch.

That's at least the third time we've seen the striper surf pics.
Heckuva nice smallie!

I've been reluctant to post this because it's not a huge trophy.

However, I usually fish alone, so this is the only picture of a fish and me, with a fish of considerable size.

Penn's Creek Brown -- 19" -- caught on a green drake wiggle nymph.
