First Pat’s rubber legs, size 8. I never tie anything this big, it almost felt like spinfish lure, so I made a size 12 on a red hook with an iridescent glass bead. Not as neat, but I like the size and colors better.

If you fish those flies you’re going to get into some brown trout. And if you fish them often, they might even turn into looking like brown trout. Or visa versa.

Size 14 Soft Hackle Pheasant Tail with a bit of a sulphur pop. This time of year I like to run this pattern on the middle dropper of my 3 fly rig when swinging wets.
