The intent is a crane fly,material is Upavon. 3 to 1 preference ratio other mops with same hook and bead from the fish...from even SMB. Should work good on Steelies as well.
 
Cranefly larva have a blend of iridecent colors. The pattern gives that appearance. I mix cream dubbing with various colors of ice dub to get that effect. I like your better and the fly will have more movement.
I got my pattern from Don Baylor a well know fly fisherman and entomologist from NE PA.
