Some experiments wrapping 1mm round foam onto a size 18 4x streamer, with hackle and a green thread wrap head. They’re *almost* neutrally buoyant, sinking at maybe 1” per second after surface tension breaks.

That's a bristly l'il caterpillar. any chance the fibers trapped in the jaw are part of a tail ?

Pink Lady

Tail - Amherst pheasant tippet barbs.
Ribbing - Flat gold tinsel
Body - Pink floss
Hackle - Ginger tied on as a collar and tied back and down
Wings - Natural light gray duck quill sections tied on edge over the body

Getting these 4 cutting boards ready for a June Get Together of a chainsaw forum group. I will be fishing while I'm out in Altoona. Couple more weeks until I get to the Little J.
