Does anyone know when the last time the West Branch of Pine Creek in Potter was surveyed?

you know i surveyed it very well! Caught a lot of fish but the changes, i have seen over the years, well, something has changed. I think the lack is do to not fishing it.
lets put it this way------how many have fished the West Branch of Pine and how many know of it and how to get there.
How many go to Lyman Lake and fish those tribs--------you got it ----not many. How many fished the Brookland and the Genessee Forks.
I have 5 fingers and you will take up two!
Maxima12------- How many really fish, seems you spend a lot of time long jawing on here about not stocking, wild trout, get trout, fool trout, see trout, lose trout and how many spots and fins.
iam no scientist, wan a be warden. biologist, booster or rooster Did it, made friends, made it, all the way.Age croped up fast, but the smell i remember was in the air, on that hot, breezy day fishing, all of Pine the left the right the below the top the bottom.
Did not get that from you tube, facebook, t v, cell phone, drive by, fancy pants book writers. I did it.
Survey? Take a look next time in the restroom and survey what your missing! Balls, boy's , it takes some to keep going on!
T V., videos, you tube, the bottom line. Keep you in the Couch, pop corn and a soda. Makes me think, your a notch and i am a legend.

One of the better Maxima posts right there. You could print your words and hang them on a wall in a frame and people would consider it art. The more you read, the more comes to light.

I dunno.. It kind of reminds me of trying to fish Cussewago Creek in Crawford County. You can only get to the water by using a machete and/or a winch and once you get there, the fishing is almost never worth the effort...🙂
Brad: You could write or call the PFBC Area 3 AFM and ask them when WB Pine was last surveyed as they'd be the folks doing the work..

Art is in the eyes of beholders, West Branch Pine Creek, some see weeds, i see success. Some see dark, i see the light of the first morning shine and the dimple of the West Branch rising Trout.
Don't expect all to Glee, Glee is in the eyes of man that fished it!
Again, you need a little Galeton blood in your veins or do the easy Spring Creek tour.
Galeton is just like one of those best cheeseburgers you ever had. Keep eating it and going back for more.
Troutbert must be a veggies only. I see it, sonny, a little protein can not hurt!

I think I agree with Millertime and see Maximas post in question as a work of art! His point is to get out and explore, figure out the world for yourself and experience nature.
having read BradfromPotters posts over the years I assume he has a reason to ask this question, and as Troutbert mentioned, it would probably be good to pass along to PFBC.

I think we all pretty much get the gist of what Maxie tries to convey here, he just does it in somewhat of a frustrated manner. It's all good.

Yeah man! The West Branch, what a stream! Quite a few beaver dams now. Also otters are there. Not sure if that's good. A trapper friend who traps beavers along the West Branch has seen them while checking traps. He says they could put a hurting on the brook trout & browns.
