Hey folks New here and looking for people that have fished the tunkhanock creek,Its a great spot for small mouths during the summer and it holds some pretty nice trout to Manley browns.I wouid like to spend more time for the browns and iam looking for advice.Just came back from palaslki and know if there was a big hole in the right spot we would have kings in the susqhanna.Had a blast.

No, the King's and all Salmon and trout need cold (and clean) water to survive. The salmon spawn in the Salmon River and migrate to the Lake (Ontario) for a few years and return to spawn in the fall.

The best we can hope for is for the shad, aka "Susky Salmon" to return to the River after their absence of over 100 years.

Btw, give Bowmans a try too for trout. There's also a DH area there that holds fish all winter.

The hole in the wall is just a dream. And i have fished bowmans before(Home Turf). The meshoppen holds some pretty nice fish to but your going have to walk to find the really nice stuff.Oh yeah forgot to tell saw a northern in the lower fly zone in palaski kinda cool.

Depends on where you fish Tunkhannock Creek. There are browns, but there are also brookies, and plenty of trout, but I won't say where to find them, you just have to explore, it's a big watershed.

Factoryville!!! That's the place.. right behind Keystone College!

Ive fished in factoryville before thats the west branch,Try the north branch.During the summer we have hooked tiger muski as far up as nicholson(Home of the big bridge).I shouldn't say that im helpless when it comes to this creek Ive fished it all my life but just recently with a flyrod.Bunny strips and buggers are always good.Ive landed a really nice brown one day in february a few years ago about 17in but their is somthing about a small mouth leaping out of the water 6 or 7 times in a row then having it wrap your line around a rock and losing it.Owell gotta go back to work keep your lines wet MEL.
