Good info about snakehead populations, habitat and habits, as well as how to fish for them >

Definitely a well written article from someone with first hand experience with snakeheads

My brother has access to a fresh water pond that empties into the west shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It has pickerel, bass, sunfish and snakeheads. He filleted and grilled one and they are really outstanding. The main problem is how slimy they are. He now lets them dry in the sun a while before fileting. I am not that big a fan of eating fish, but these snakeheads challenge rockfish for the dinner table.

Great info from John Odenkirk .

Que the loser music from The Price is Right…..

Lost a snakehead , baby tarpon , peacock bass in FL 2 weeks ago.

Same story , hooked up , 20 second battle and into the Lilly pads and weeds then broke off. Wish I had the braid. Fred would be proud.
