Really nice video. Watching that makes me want to fish there even more.

Chuck and duck on the salmon river is what the video should of been named. It is a very nice place and who doesn't love big fish. I make a few trips a year but I will always say that place bastardizes fly fishing. I will never like chuck-in all that weight out just isn't as elegant. Very nice video love the post production.

I wish I could wsender. I'm hoping next year around this time. School and work takes over my life. My last true fishing trip was a half day in mid-September!

True fly fishing is plenty effective up there, but admittedly, you've gotta chuck and duck occasionally.

Very nice Becker. Thanks for sharing. Are you going this weekend or did you already go?

Heading up Friday!

I made three trips end of Sept first week of Oct,caught many Salmon and a number of trout on the fly zones, most productive fly was a conehead woolly bugger on the swing, also used chartruse glo bug with good success.Do not "chuck and duck" use only enough weight to get it down, most casts are roll casts.
Landed one male King that measured 44",it was half as broad as it was long....40#?By the way my tippet was 10# P-line flora, had to bump up from 6# 'cause the water was ripping that last week.
Might get up again in November for trout.
