The Mods and I wanted to share that we have set the dates as Friday, May 16 - Sunday, May 18. More details will follow with a formal announcement later. I have talked to Jake at Seven Mountains and we are all set for the weekend. Heads up there was some conversation with Jake about a new numbering scheme for the cabins and camping areas. For example you may need to ask and confirm your cabin location as the map on the site may not be correct.

Maybe you should see that recent thread about stocking and people's anger regarding the PFBC receiving "general monies" to stock trout.

I'll still blame the politicians. You want something screwed up, get a politician involved. Good fishing at the Jam!!

 

Not sure how wide spread it was, but the band of storms across the center and northern part ot the state probably made even the smallest streams unfishable

We checked out Spring Creek at Fisherman's Paradise a couple of hours ago. We had a heavy downpour for about 45 minutes this morning. Spring was turd brown and about 3 inches out of its banks into the grass in the Paradise.

We are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch with an entire night of training thunderstorms to follow. If anyone remembers the old Door's spoken word song, "Horse Latitudes" what we are currently experiencing is the liquid precipitation equivalent of when true sailing is dead.

My brother is coming in from CO for the week of Memorial Day and we are supposed to float the Susquehanna or Juniata for smallmouth two days. Another round of rain towards the tail end of next week and we might get washed out.

Dear CRB,

We had a nice fire ring drinking session tonight. I can report that all is well with no casualties. 😉

Saw plenty of old faces and met some new faces too. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
