Hi my name is Isaac Yampolsky. I live in Philadelphia. I'm a new member to this site, as well as a beginner fly fisherman.
I've been an angler for a few years spending countless hours in Philly's own Pennypack Creek. I caught stocked trout, panfish, smallies, and even a couple big bass on spinning rods, becoming quite comfortable with it. However after taking a trip to the catskill mountains this year, and watching the most epic bug hatch happen in the Esopus Creek, I knew I needed to start fly fishing.
I primarily fly fish Pennypack, but I am hoping to try out fishing in some more prestigous trout locations this fall.
I love to learn and I love to fish! So, if anyone has any advice, feel free to share!
