Maryland - Beaver Creek or Big Hunting Creek?

Hello, everyone. I have one day to fish this week, with rain in the forecast. I'm about equal distance from Beaver Creek and Big Hunting Creek (45 min to either). Has anyone fished either recently? Does either one perform better than the other after/during a rain? Any advice is welcome and appreciated (especially if you have Beaver Creek access points beyond right near the fly shop). Thank you!

IMO BHC will be the better option after today's rain being in the mountains vs farmland. It's been running low, so the rain is very much welcome.

I'd call the shop for Beaver Creek conditions. There may be some good streamer action.

With Beaver Creek, I wonder how it is faring following the fish kill in 2023? Were it me, I'd hit up BHC. Lots of other options in Catoctin Mountain SP too.

You might want to sit tight and see what happens. Central and Western MD got bombed with rain and there is a lot more to come.

Yeah. I agree. I saw some serious flooding in Westernport. Savage was 6k below the dam. More rain overnight also over a large area.
