Hey guys. I recently applied and got accepted into the Maine TU Trout Camp. The information on the camp can be found here: http://www.troutcamp.org/. But, I was actually wondering if anyone had any experience up in Maine. What are some key flies and techniques I should focus on? Any terrestrials/dries/streamers/nymphs i should be tying up in bulk (and sizes would help too)? I've already started cranking out a ton of pheasant tails, hare's ears, and caddis. So those nymphs are covered. But any help would be greatly appreciated.

+1 re: maineflyfish.
Have only fished Down East Maine, personally, but the camp & surrounding
area looks
schweet...
Can recommend this link:

They do love to get their streamer-thing on up there.
Have fun & don't forget the Liquid Stitch.

tie up skeeter and black fly patterns, the top 2 hatches in maine...

streamers lots of them too..

I thought the black fly was the state bird. I would consider getting a headnet for coverage prior to your trip.
