Not sure if there is a thread I am missing, but Jo-Anne's is closing nationwide. I had to run in to the one in Whitehall on Mother's Day for some Polyfill. I bought a 10lb box of it, that should tie me 9 million flies. Everything is 50%-80% off. I immediately searched for Sulky thread, but it was gone. They do have Ott Lights on discount if you have been looking for one. Pretty sure this is a nationwide closure, so if you have one around you, might be a fun little treasure hunt.

If you have a Joann Fabrics near you and it's on the list of closing stores, it may be worth a look around. I know I've found items like Sulky thread at Joann in the past. They also have other items that may be of interest to a fly tyer such as storage, etc. Not sure what the sales look like, as the Joann near me isn't closing (yet).

My wife grabbed 18 skeins of yarn for around $120 at the Quakertown store. I bought some pink and neon green yarn at the Whitehall store for cased hares ears. Unfortunate that they're going out of business, I'm not a huge fan of Michael's.
