Found this beast of a caddis on a creek that will remain unnamed. Anybody know what kind? I’ve always been kinda whatever on exact bug identification but I’m super curious because of how beefy this guy was.

Interesting, I always assumed they’d be a more yellow/orangeish color because of the pupal and adult stages. Good to know.

OP - Let me know where the creek is, I’ll come up with some name suggestions for consideration. Frustrating to think in this day and age we have creeks without names. How are we going to properly spot burn them, err I mean, identify them?
