Amazing how times, and prices, have changed due to the economy and decades of inflation. I bought the Hardy LRH (one size larger than the Lightweight) in 1965 for $25 and paid $7 for an extra spool at Ramsey Outdoor stores in Paramus, NJ. Heck I bought my first Leonard "Baby Catskill" right at the Central Valley, NY shop for $200. I sold it forty years later, with two broken tips, for $2000.
