On 6/4/25 I found a fly box on a small stream in northern Clinton County. Freshly lost. Will be glad to return it.

By the way, I just noticed there is contact information written on the back of the box; however, most of it is rubbed off. The owner's last name appears to be "Shenk." If anyone knows someone with this last name, please alert them.

tomgamber: I know it sounds laughable, but it actually has "Shenk" on the back of the box. I'd take a photo, but it is too light to show up in a photo. Now, if I said it was an old fly box that looked like it had been lying around for years and had "G. Harvey," "J. Humphreys," or "R. Abele" on the back, now that would be unbelievable.

The name "Shenk" is just as unbelievable >

I don't think Ed Shenk fished Green Weenies... 😉

FWIW - IF you own one, a P-Touch label on the INSIDE of your fly boxes is the way to go.

I just put my name & cell # which fits on a .47" wide label. After I SOMEHOW lost a reel, I also use the same label on the bottom of my reel feet and other stuff I could drop while fishing.

BTW - If you want some real Ed Shenk stuff, contact Bill Skilton via Facebook or his eBay store.
