Favorite PA Wild Trout Photos

Thanks for the images, the tomi Brookie looks like shark and those pcray image look really sharp on the ipad

Very nice pictures pcray, thanks for sharing. A lot of memorable fish in there no doubt...pretty sure I saw "Three Spot" a few times.

I had planned on doing some serious stream research on a couple of new ones tonight...but I just spent the last 45 minutes looking at your slideshow instead...love that kind of fishing.

Ok, sorry I'm not good with names and I talked with him for quite a while. Hope to meet there if not before.

No prob...looking forward to meeting and hopefully getting to fish with both you and Pat.

You know guys there is this thing called a PM feature. Tic 🙂

csoult, that was Scott. He's a coworker, occasional lurker, not a poster, but a good friend. Made the last 2 jams I believe, the first with his son, who couldn't make it last year. It's a yearly thing where we make an extended fishing trip, and we simply kicked it off with the jam for the last few years, before getting down to more serious business afterwards.

I have to check with him but I believe there's a conflict this year. Meaning, I might be there only Friday and Saturday nights, and then if we can find someone to help with the baby, make the extended trip some other time.

He's in that slideshow I posted many times. Other posters in there somewhere are K-bob, Fishidiot, Fly Swatter, JayL, ryguy, and ryguy's buddy (who's name escapes me, I'm sorry!)

first fish of this year...also my favorite wild fish pic so far.

Thanks Sas!

Hey Pat,

That was a great trip with Jeff! I think "dinky" is generous regarding the first few photos near Jeff's camp. You gotta like fishing a stream you can straddle. And that hike back out of the 2nd stream was brutal.

Awesome trip! Thanks for the slideshow.

That was a great trip. It's funny how a single line can get tagged to the memory of a trip, but for that one, the line for me is "there's a little hill at the end."

Those trout laying on the ground shots make me cringe(I counted about ten or so). Please try to keep them in the water or in your wet hand unless they are for dinner. Even though the wet ground may seem okay its really not. Sand/dirt is the worst; moss/grass/leaves/instream wet rocks not so much.

One of my favorite wild trout photos is the one I used for my avatar. It's the second of two wild tigers I have caught.

^ Wild Tiger Trout, that's one of my favorite trout pics that I've seen on the forums. Awesome! You're one of the VERY FEW I've ever heard of catching 2 different wild tigers. Unreal.

And phillyfly, that is prolly THE prettiest native I've ever seen! Very nice.

Pat, thanks for sharing that beautiful slide show! I really enjoyed that as well.

k-bob, that's a real beauty!

wildtrout2 thanks for the compliment. I feel VERY fortunate to have caught two different wild tigers.
