anyone want to get together and do some fishin this comming saturday i think they are both being stocked and if they are fishable i'd like to go fishin... anyone else?

Oops.... just read this post wrong and thought you were looking help deciding between the two.. IMO bull creek is way better!

do you think it will be flooded out? supposed to get more rain this week friday sat and sunday i have only fished it once and caught nothing well creek chubs whats a good 2 fly set up for bull creek? eggs and san juan? hares ear cased caddis?

My 2 cents is it depends on how much rain we get on Friday and through out the weekend. The streams are raging now but with the dry windy conditions for the next several days flows should be okay by the weekend. Again, if it's only showers on Friday and rest of weekend, conditions could be very good by then.

Never thought very highly of those streams but if they are close by it would be fun.

I drive past bull on my way to work every day.... I'll take a look at the end of the week and see how its flowing. I don't fish tandems on bull creek, but eggs and green weenies with a red tail always work good for me. Got a 22 incher out of there last year on an egg.

Hopefully Bull doesn't get stocked today as it's supposed to if it's still blown out. I can't imaging there would be many fish left in the DHALO section by the time flows return to normal.

Can't say I've ever fished Deer but my brother enjoys fishing there. They're not the greatest places to fish but I look forward to the early stocking of Bull every year. It's a nice place to shake the rust off.

I typically fish a pheasant tail or hair's ear nymph with a cream sucker spawn to catch the stockies. Really anything can catch those fish when they're put in. Buggers will work as well.

They're supposed to stock it Friday 3/04 so if the rain holds off it should be in good shape for the weekend.

i seen the bull is getting stocked friday so saturday would be a good day to get them...

It would actual be better if it was fairly blownout when they stocked bull creek. Traditionally they only stock it at two spots at the top of the dhalo section. Takes a good washout to get them into some of the more "remote"stretches, haha....
