ive been looking for those in size 10 for a long time. every once in a while they pop up on ebay but thats the only luck ive had finding them

Those are good hooks. I want to say there is a gamagatsu hook that is close but I can't remember the number. It's been a while since I've used egg patterns. I never had these in 10, only in bigger sizes. I used them for egg patterns in very big water (think quarter sized or larger).

I looked the gamagatsu c14s is what I was thinking of. They might be a little thinner than the x510s but I think they are plenty strong for salmon and steelhead.

I have a couple hundred Daiichi 2571 hooks in sizes 4,6 and 8 that are steelhead, egg or glo bug hooks. (No size 10 hooks though, which would be very small in that style unless you were tying extra small flies.)
