Abnormal catch

Is Crabby stocked? I thought Crabby had brookies at one point but they were gone. Last I heard, I thought the Crabby restoration hadn't gone as well as planned.

They were planted from another creek in the region with natural reproduction, I believe.

That's kinda my thought as well. I feel like we would've had more instances of this happening.

My only other thought is schools raising fry for classes that are later released. I think that was the case a few years back on Pigeon or Allegheny creek.

Correct, this was apparently years ago on the Wyomissing in Mohnton, before transitioning to rainbows.

Mike that post's here frequently confirmed that a school had released them in about a 100 yd stretch of creek.

At work a few years ago we had a 12" catfish fall out of the sky and land next our plane. Clumsy hawk dropped it.
