Chest wader options

Anyone ever try Flex Seal on waders? A buddy of mine was going to try it last year, and now with the improving weather he is talking about it again.

I've used Tenacious Tape with Aqua Seal with mixed results. But still looking for a low cost alternative. May be worth it to carry a can of FlexSeal on extended trips.

edit: found an entry from about a year ago from Fly-n-Lion, wonder if they are still holding up?
