1. Hook organizing. I have a problem with this in my tying set up. I have a plano style bins for different hooks and sizes, but they always found their way into other bins, hang up on each other, etc.

The solution? String em on safety pins.

2. Out of strike indicators and don't want to run to the fly shop? Foam earplugs work fine. Just run the hook through it and slide it up the line, place a micro-shot to hold it in place if it starts to slide. I work in a factory so I always seem to have some in the car.

3. Wine cork on the croakie for your sunglasses. If they do fall off, they float.

run a hook through those earplugs and you have a popper for trout, panfish and bass.....

I use plastic bins with permenant compartments for hook storage. the plano bins with the moveable compartments wont work. If you put a piece of construction paper on the underside of the lid it will seal the bins and the hooks will always stay put. You can then put a schematic on the paper like a box ofchocolates so you know what hooks are what.
