I found this on another board and thought some might like it....

I'm guessing a fly in a either a rainbow or brook trout dun/spinner pattern may be the best way to catch one of those winged critters.
 
At one point it looked like the osprey was surfing or skateboarding when he was holding that large trout. Nice video, thanks

I've seen several ospreys in the last few years. They local ones don't seem to be as large as the one in the video. Was fishing last year and heard a commotion in the woods and out came an osprey with a small bird in it's talons.

 
I saw an osprey on the Gunpowder recently carrying a brown trout bigger that the one in my avatar. He was having trouble maintaining altitude. A minute later, a juvenile osprey came right behind with a much smaller trout. Looked like mom or dad was giving fishing lessons that day!
