I went out last Monday back bay of NJ water temp started at 46 and warmed up to about 50 during the trip . Me and my buddy had to find and work to catch our fish . Hot fly of the day was a 5” half n half basically bounced off the bottom, fish were all caught in 3-5’ of water. Wind was a factor with gusts in the 20’s so I spent good part of my time controlling the boat .
