I just picked this rod up for euro nymphing. Just seeing if anyone else had this set up and which reel they went with.

Orvis hydros. I mostly fish my helios 10 foot 4 but the recon has gotten some use lately. Good stick, pairs well with the hydros reel.

I don’t know if this is subject to extrapolation, but I have the 10’ 3wt. Recon. It balances very nicely with a Nautilus FW5. The FW5 weighs 7 1/4 ounces with backing, 3wt Rio Single Hand Spey line, and 5 ft. poly leader.
