Last weekend offered the same conditions at the pond we went too today and killed it on poppers. We went there 2 times over the weekdays and then today and caught 1 on a muddler . (I solute you if your still following this) The i would say that it is fished about 4 times a week including weekends. It used to be a money pond and i feel that we just kinda turned it off so to speak.. So, How fished is over fished

I suspect a dozen reasons other than overfishing for your poor showing on your last outing. Nonetheless, I suppose if the pond is small enough you could have caught every decent fish and educated them all.

I would assume that you're catching Largemouth and Sunnies. Largemouth (and Smallmouth) are probably the pickest fresh water fish when it comes feeding. If there is a lot of fishing pressure mixed with many visitors, then your fishing experience might not turn out so good. My advice is to go when the weather is poor. Fair weather fisherman will be least likely to show up at your pond. Also, get away from the popper patterns and start using your streamers. Hope this helps.

BOLD = overfished

Yeah I thought alot about all of this.. There was an old quarry that we know have to permission to fish and it is a fairly large pond with a lotta nice hogs and just a ton of fish.. Used to be our favorite place, always good for a few fish.. now nothing in the world works and we let it sit for about 3-4 months, went back today and caught 14 collectively

I switch up my spots to give them a week or two break for just this reason.

Smart smart man, ant.

I've had one great spot turn into a crap spot. I learned by experience.
