Catching Suckers On Sculpin Streamer

For the first time in my life I caught a sucker on a streamer last wednesday in all the rain that we got not only one but I landed 16 suckers in the same hole. I had never caught one before on a streamers do suckers feed like trout on minnows when it rains? I guess so just wanted to see if anyone else has caught them. Most of them were big too around 14-18 inches long. The one time I think it must of been a carp i could not move it them the line snapped eventually. Was odd for me but fun in the same way I got a couple nice trout that day too. Looking forward to seeing what you have to say or if you have caught them like that.

Yep, though I do better with nymphs. In my bait fishing days, I used to catch em on live minnows.
