I'm looking for advice or a product that I can use to net or capture insects. I've seen a few so far this season but only managed to catch a tiny sulphur by accident.

I do have a seine but I'm looking for something that I can catch them airborne with.

Sorry if this is not the appropriate thread, feel free to move it.

Thanks

best thing is a butterfly net that kids use. or get some (no see-um) netting and add a coat hanger for a frame in a triangle.6" x 6" x 6". carry in waders or vest..have to sew the netting around the wire.

Just make sure your sunglasses are not on your hat when trying to catch insects.

Becker. Sounds like you speak from experience?

An aquarium net works for me.

Nah friends experience. I still have my Oaklys that I bought 5 years ago.

Thanks for the input, I have small capture net but the netting isn't a fine enough weave for smaller insects. Now I'm looking all over for butterfly nets, insect viewing containers with magnifying glass, embalming fluid, etc.

Next I will be prancing along the stream waving a butterfly net, Oh Joy~~!!

You don't do that now?

Well today was different, didn't need a net or even a hat, black caddis everywhere.
