Any tips for identifying and using October caddis?

Does PA get an October Caddis hatch? Are they similar to other caddis, just with an orange body. All the tying videos I saw on you tube were basic elk hair caddis with some type of orange body with brown hackle.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

That's the western version. In our area, the Great Brown Autumn Sedge is usually called an October caddis (Trout Nut is fighting a losing battle about insisting that only the western ones be called October caddis.)

Big Spring has a good hatch of them; they last into mid-November.
