Yarn Strike Indicator Attachment

Hey everyone,
The other day I tried out some premade yarn strike indicators, but was unable to adjust the height of them. I simply put a loop through the ring of the indicator and wrapped it around the entire indicator. The ring was rubber and not a hard plastic. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to make these adjustable?

It won't just slide up the leader, but you can loosen the connection and move it, or undo it completely and re-attach.

Ok, thanks. The rubber ring makes it difficult to loosen or take it off. So I was just seeing if there was some other way to attach it I guess.

How do you attach it?

The normal way is... form a loop with your leader, insert that loop through the ring and over the indicator, and then tighten.

yeah, that is exactly how I attach it. But it begins to pinch into the rubber and makes things difficult
