due to whatever medical condition you may have, does anybody tie flies standing up?

Back surgery about seven years ago. Half of one disk totally removed. Most of my flies are tied standing up, it is just much more comfortable than sitting for me.

They make ergonomic "stand up" chairs for high tables. I worked for a company that had an HR director that rather than a desk had this high table with a "stool" with the back on the front she leaned against. I said hey, that would be great for fly tying....

I usually tie standing up. I looked into some of those standing workstations, to do actual work too lol, but they're very pricey. I installed an adjustable wall mount shelf in my spare room/office, and tie on that.

Sometimes adjusting the vise height, with books stacked under the base, helps folks.

All my tying the last few years has been done standing up. I find it helps relieve strain on my back, neck and shoulders.
