That's cool.
I dunno. Those tournaments or "rodeos" always leave me with a sickening taste in my mouth. The level of snagging, tough guy nonsense, littering, and other stuff is out of hand usually. Hopefully this one is run better.
I say this because the birdsboro sportsmans club is currently bending poor hay creek over a barrel. The temps will be mid to upper 70s after the first hot week now. They've removed gravel and dammed the stream up so that it'll be a mucky pond within a few months. Never once have they removed their dams or removed the silt that they cause with their temporary slaughter fences that they use to keep the fish isolated. They're supposed to, but it's mob rule in that little town sometimes. This is why there are no wild fish in the stream below where 82 reopens, yet they are abundant upstream.
It gets me irate every time I think about it.
