silver badger does anyone know where I can find some for tying large drys? Flys like 10 -8 - and even 6's. 8's being what I use the most. I have tried feather emporium and a few other places. But no luck.
Any ideas?

Thanks guys, sent email to campfire lodge. Henry I do not know who
Charlie Collins is. Bob I have seen these on ebay. But it is very hard to tell if they will tie large drys.

thanks,

Campfire lodge has 1200 + hackles in stock.
Each is photographed and a description is provided.
You can really see what you will get

you can see the entire neck/saddle at campfire but can you see the individual feathers that's required to tie his larger dry flies?

Sweet tie gutcutter, mike Google him not hard to find.

Did anyone here win that one on ebay? I was going to bid on it but fell asleep.

I got a whiting Herbert miner cape silver grade silver badger cape from dette trout flies a year or two ago. There are some feathers for size 10 and 8 on it.

I will be meeting with Charley Collins tomorrow and will take a look at his supply of silver badger and let you know. Right now he is busy slaughtering and skinning and should have a fresh supply.

Go to Classic Fly Fisherman in Lansdale. Lots of necks in stock.

Charley doesn't have a single silver badger available. I picked a decent one up at Kettle Creek Tackle yesterday, the last one he had, for $15. What a steal. For those of you that get up that way, check out his(Kettle Creek) "High and Dry" necks that he just started selling. I've never seen neck hackle that was as long as saddles, but that is the case with these new necks.

Charlie Collins always struck me as one of the nicest vendors I've ever met at a show, and he always seemed willing to take a few minutes to talk to potential customers, likely answering the same questions over and over again.

His skins are great, his attitude is wonderful, and the prices are dead on. If you ever goto one of the shows where he's at you should probably make his booth one of your first stops. Even his higest grade stuff is cheap, but the bargin grade bin is probably about the best deal you can come by.

Google silver badger strung saddle hackle. Should find some there.
