Shows near Ithaca, NY?

I'm originally from Western PA but I go to school at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. I've never been to a show or any event of that sort but after viewing the video on the home page it looks something I would love to attend. Being fairly new to fly fishing, I would love to go and just soak up as much information as I can, and possibly meet some really neat people.

Are there any shows around me? (finger lakes region) I'm not opposed to a little bit of a drive, but the Somerset show is 4.5 hours away from me and thats stretching my college kid budget for gas in my Ford Expedition (gotta love 8MPG)
