Seeing The Fly

Simulating one trying to break out? I have never heard of and obviously never tried fishing midges/nymphs on top.

@wildtigertrout, what would you recommend for a more stealthy strike indicator? I usually fish stockies now for "practice" so I can eventually fish more difficult waters, but if I'm fishing wild and native trout, I am going to employ the stealth approach.

I like to use the 1/2" Thingamabobber in white. IMO white is the best color to use because to me it simulates a simple air bubble. Hopefully the trout see it the same way. I know it works. ;-)

No, they are in Lycoming County.
 
Ah, I thought it might have been just north of Clinton.
 
It's northeast for me. About 40 minutes away.
