Regarding Brook Trout...

You guys would be suprised to know that much of the FF section of the LL is 40 ft wide, and it is a little wider down below in some places. Of course it varies in size through the entire section, and a 7'6" 4 weight is perfect for the LL.

Well shucks, then where's my checkbook so I can get the latest greatest casting stick since that's what's been holding me back all this time.
 
I think it's more common for the caster to be the limiting factor. But it does happen where a poor rod holds a decent caster back. Just sayin.
