Need new reel

Kobalt, the Lamson Liquid 3 pack is a sweet deal. Picking one up at the local TCO fly shop in Reading for $149.

I've been looking at them for a 7wt if I decide to get one. They seem like a really nice reel and you can't beat the price.

If you make your $$$ in the United States of America and if you can swing it, I'd recommend a US made reel, as we still do that here.

I would recommend the Lamson Liquid. I have one for an 8 wt. size is 3.5 I believe. It goes for $100 or so and is available in any number of dwindling fly shops.

Compared to conventional tackle, a fly reel does an astoundingly simple job. There should exist, but I don't know of any inexpensive American made click reels, unfortunately.
