Is it ok to cheat ?

What about all the times you hook that 2-3" chub, minnow, fingerling and the 12-15" trout chases it down? Happens more than I like to admit (catching the 2-3" trout).

I can honestly say I never tried putting bait on a fly, what is the sense of flyfishing if you use bait on your fly, might as well just bait fish. I always thought the idea was to enjoy the art of flyfishing not catching fish. If you catch some fish (I love to catch fish) fine if I don't fine again!

I guess if it's legal and that what you want to do go ahead!

But it sure ain't flyfishing!
