Fished a trib of the Brandywine today to avoid the canoes, kayaks, and tubes on the main stem. Hiked in about 2 miles to avoid the crowds. Landed a half dozen smallies between 9 and 13 inches. They all fought well on the 5 weight I was using. Also caught 8 or 10 fall fish and the same number of sunnies and rock bass. All caught on streamers--bead head leeches and a Murray's strymph.
