I always see the ads for Cutthroat fruled/braided leaders.

I like them but I don't really know what I'm doing with a fly rod yet. For me they cast better, never tangle or knot, and they deliver a fly softer then any of the many tapered mono leaders that I have destroyed. They are also way cheaper since they last all year. if you make them yourself they cost next to nothing.
