Here are some comments on recent finds from the library:


Trout Grass- DVD

Bamboo's journey from China to it's final product in hand.
If there's nothing else going on or nothing on TV it's worth watching but I would never recommend buying it.


Fool's Paradise- by John Gierach

Read it before but it's Gierach and it's winter. If you like Gierach- you will like this book.


In Search of a Rising Tide-DVD

Basically a history of bonefishing in the Bahamas with some local guides. I would not recommend buying it but it was okay. It was short- 40 minutes or so.

Reading fool's paradise now. Didn't think to look at the library, but I enjoy book ownership.

Never read anything by Gierach that wasn't good , Fools Paradise will be on my list , JayL i like owning books too , got thousands of em on shelves all over the house.

I read Fool's Paradise over the summer. I would like to know if he ever gave in and got a cell phone.
