E. Branch White Clay

Is it worth fishing East Branch of White Clay Creek or should I drive north to streams with better reputation of having trout in them?

Sure, for those times when you just have a little time to fish. But you will find your self heading north more and more. I lived in bear for nine years and ended up doing just that, and heading to central Pa. Where I live now. Just don't fish it in the summer I did once and the trout I pulled in felt like a 12" piece of wood, never did it again. Look up a group called the whiteclayflyfishers great group of people and their meetings are held right next to the stream, they also have tying nights which are very well attended.

Oha, if you're talking about penns creek it's good you didn't. It's been raining all day and harder in late afternoon.
