Plus if you head east a little further to Burt Dam or Oak Orchard Creek you have the opportunity to sight fish to world class brown trout, Cohos, Kings, Atlantics, and Steelhead.

Just got back from New York...unfortunately I was not able to make it to the Catt...fished Burt and oak we stayed in Alcott at the mouth of Burt...water level low and not many fish...managed a couple but nothing major

The "res" sounds like a place to avoid. I'd rather fish in solitude with less chance of catching a fish. Do guides put you on "private waters" up there? Might be worth the bucks.

Has anyone fished the Catt in the past few days? I'm up in NY and might head overy since flows look good. Wondering if there are good numbers of fish in yet.
