Just do it.

Needs a seat - like a rickshaw. Then I'd need a sapper to pull it - You volunteering? I'd be better off finding someone that doesn't faceplant hard enough to lose his boots and hat.

You've got your manboy, leave me outta this. Fishing is too hard, its easier to sit around and bait a website.

Don't pick on Sparky - he's an absolute blast to fish with.

Despite him not grasping the whole concept of "I'll teach you how to tie flies, so I don't have to when I'm too old to do so", he's doing well.

The boy can definitely fish.....

Y'know, I started this in the vein of best backing, and I'm ending it by saying $20 for a zinger is outright insanity and people have more money than brains.

Also, I don't understand the rubber phone cord tube zingery things.

They are much less likely to fail than the mechanical versions. They're just a better built casino/slot card umbilical cord. Having said that, the coils themselves are practically all the same and the only thing differentiating them is tube material and of course marketing. I have a few of the Simms ones as I have bought into the Simms koolaid and the pins on the back that secure the zinger is perfectly matched to the openings on their bags and crap. Simms has also taken to building these things into their waders and jackets which is pretty handy. I have never had one fail and they are among the few pieces of equipment that I really abuse. Having said that, they are $10 (and of course when is the last time you saw me pay full price for something?LOL.).

It seems that Fishpond is trying to add value. Basically the attachment system is different than others and allows it to pivot. I can't fathom how that is really beneficial more than 1% of the time, however that's what it does. The key here in my opinion would be how secure this innovative system actually is. Innovation frequently results in brilliance or failure.

Couple people mentioned Gear Keeper. Now that is expensive.

you asked for the best zinger, not for the best cheap alternatives...hands down Gear Keeper zingers are bomb proof.

You use a zinger for your net? That's like asking to be slapped up side the head when it catches on brush, and then comes whizzing back at mach 2...

Magnets are where it's at for nets. Preferrably with an elastic cord leash to keep from losing your net.

Same difference

Man you must have one strong elastic leash, mine is no where as strong as that...

As much as gfen?

Times where body chemistry alterations have been performed with external stimuli do not count.

As for the consistent toppling I did in September and October, four months on my *** unable to move and major organ removal. What's your excuse? ;-)

At the Salmon, I had no excuse.

At the J, it was dark and my contacts looked like something out of a bad chest cold.

And I'm a klutz.

I must say, sender, you fall harder and more often than anyone in the world. I watched you fish the UFZ for 5 minutes, and I think you fell twice!

Crazy thing is the dude crossed the SR with no troubles. I about died.
