It's been a while posting on here. School blah blah. I just got the itch to fish recently, so here I am.
My best day of 2011, and my best day on the fly was here on the Little J. I caught a buttload of fish, and two Beaver special fat hogs. They were stocked rainbows, but they were quite a fight on my 4wt (rest in peace). It was also my first mid-day hatch that I happened upon. Great day.

2011 for me was a pretty good year, except for all the high water. Fished all my usual streams and fished many new ones. I think the best moments of 2011 for me was smallmouth fishing on the Shenango River and French Creek. Caught tons of fish, including some nice ones. Made it out to fish for wild trout a few times which is always awsome. Caught my first couple bowfin which was cool(not on the fly though) Fly fishing for crappie was awsome in the spring, even had a 100 fish day between my brother and I. And I think I finally broke the learning curve for steelhead! Fished OH and PA tribs a few times this fall and only got skunked once, which was in Sept. Also got to float a river from a raft which I've never done before. Saw lots of wildlife and also managed some steel.

@streamerguy, I hope that bottom fish is a Bowfin and not a snakehead! please tell me they haven't made it to Ohio!!!!Lol

Don't worry, it's a bowfin :) If it was a snakehead its head would of been chopped off! lol

akid, I think I know where that sign is!
