I'm telling you dude, you would love the first generation orvis graphites. They were made to feel like a bamboo rod as much as graphite can. Easily my favorite graphite rods.

Sal I believe you. That rod my buddy built on 1st generation graphite feels great to me.

Some of your folks may want to check out the Gary LaFontaine line of Stealth rods. I'm not a big fan of super fast rods, I fish alot of glass and bamboo. I do find the Stealth rods very nice to fish.
