2012 Quill Gordon Summit on the horizon!!! April 20-22nd

Sorry I could not make it-- my loss, really.

So who showed and how was the gathering? Were the QGs to be found? How was the fishing? How was the fire-side chats? Pictures appreciated.

I stay in Potter C and fish until my fingers refuse to attach the flies.
The temperature drop down to 30something.

I agree and that's the first time I've viewed a golden rainbow and thought of the word beautiful. The photo is great also with the extreme soft-out-of-focus background. Surely intentional.



Oh, and it looks wild :cool:

2012 Quill Gordon Summit6 - make sure that you noticed March Brown sitting on Dave’s (wetfly01) right hand , you have to zoom in the picture. He is standing in the middle of Pine Creek soon after release of beautiful Brown he landed.

2012 Quill Gordon Summit7 - taken in IROQUOIS cabin, Saturday night before dinner.

2012 Quill Gordon Summit8
- shows first stretch of the Pine and the nearest pool we started fishing. It was a hell of the shower!

2012 Quill Gordon Summit9 - Austin Dam, 50 feet structure where Sept 30, 1911 disaster occur.
Failure of the dam sent torrents of water into Austin killing 78 people.

You'll never get Jerry to join the boards. He uses the internet to check the weather and email. That's it, and that's the way he likes it.

Expect to see him at the 2013 QG(March Brown) Summit though.
