pete.......how did you come to fish Greenspring so often? Is it the one in Newville , Cumberland county or is there another one down east? I fished Greenspring alot when i lived in Newville , was the watercress farm there when you fished it? How about the hatchery upstream from the church? It's a private hatchery but they raise some trout , i know a fellow that works there. What was your favorite stretch to fish? Mine is the very end stretch , mostly woods , right before it empties into the Con and then some.

My love affair with Green Springs started with the first year I got a Pa. out of state Lisc.
Read about it in an article-went there and by good luck a bunch of hatchery bows escaped a couple days earlier-hundreds of trout,all to myself.Hog heaven.
