We're getting close to this year's "Limestoner" event on Sat 20 April. The Limestoner is Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited's annual fundraiser which helps preserve and protect the legendary trout streams of the Cumberland Valley that many of you cherish.
In the past, the Limestoner was a traditional banquet with auction, but things are evolving for CVTU these days. Like many fund raising auctions over the last four years, ours has moved online. We still have our banquet, but the event has become a day-long festivity replete with a variety of FFing speakers and events - the Spring Fling. This year, among other things, we're conducting a fishing contest to raise money.
This contest is being supported by Precision Fly Fishing in partnership with TCO Boiling Springs and prizes are available. The main goal, however, is to have fun on our local waters fly fishing for trout (but also warm water species - hurray!) while raising funds for a good cause.
